Na netbooku Mivvy m310 mi pořád běží větrák. Teplota procesoru je 50°C, což mi přijde zbytečně málo. Větrák by nemusel jet pořád naplno.

Hledání řešení

Nejdřív prohledám /proc/acpi

  • /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/cooling_mode <setting not supported>
  • /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/polling_frequency <polling disabled>
  • /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/state state: ok
  • /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/temperature temperature: 50 C
  • /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THRM/trip_points critical (S5): 100 C
  • /proc/acpi/fan – prázdný adresář

Tak to nevypadá na první pohled nejlíp. Zkusím googlit:

Some Super I/O chips contain embedded sensors. We have to write to

Some systems (mainly servers) implement IPMI, a set of common interfaces
through which system health data may be retrieved, amongst other things.
We first try to get the information from SMBIOS. If we don't find it
there, we have to read from arbitrary I/O ports to probe for such

Tak to jsem nepřidal, jednka jsem koukal, že v /etc/modules skoro žádné moduly nemám (asi se v Ubuntu strkají jinam) a druhak tu teplotu Atomu mi jádro zobrazuje. Žádné větráky mi to stejně nenašlo.
